Chemicals are associated with codes that define their health, physical and environmental hazards.This universal hazard communication system was developed to ensure that employers, employees and consumers are provided with adequate, practical, reliable and comprehensible information on the hazards of chemicals, so that they can take effective preventive and protective measure for their own health and safety.

Potential Health Effects Eyes: This substance is a moderate eye irritant and causes substantial but temporary eye injury. The degree of the injury will depend on the amount of material that gets into the eye and the speed and thoroughness of the first aid treatment. Signs and symptoms of overexposure may include discomfort, irritation and redness, and blurred vision. Skin: This substance is not expected to cause skin irritation. Ingestion: If swallowed, this substance is considered practically non-toxic to internal organs. Inhalation: If inhaled, this substance is considered practically non-toxic to internal organs. Sensitization: This product contains trace quantities of methylisothiazolinone and methylchloroisothiazolinone as preservatives. At higher concentrations these preservatives have been shown to cause allergic skin reactions in susceptible individuals. These preservatives are also found in a number of widely used personal care products, such as shampoos and cosmetics.

EPA has classified glyphosate in category ***E*** (Evidence of no carcinogenicity for humans). Imazapyr: Not a carcinogen based on the results of the chronic feeding studies in rats and mice. EPA classes Imazapyr in Group E (no evidence of carcinogenicity in at least 2 adequate animal tests in different species.). Not listed as a human

      From MSDS General Procedures: Store product in original container in a safe place. Protect from freezing. People & pets may enter treated areas after spray has dried.

    • Disposal information

      From MSDS Product Disposal: Carefully follow all label directions and precautions. If necessary to dispose of partially filled container, then securely wrap it in several layers of newspaper and discard in trash. Empty container: Do not reuse container. Wrap empty container in several layers of newspaper and discard in trash.

    • First Aid

      From MSDS Eyes: hold eye open and rinse slowly and gently with water for 15 to 20 minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present, after the first 5 minutes, then continue rinsing eyes. Call a poison control center or doctor for treatment advice. Skin: If on skin or clothing, take off contaminated clothing. Rinse skin immediately with plenty of water for 15 to 20 minutes. Call a poison control center or doctor for treatment advice. Ingestion: If swallowed, call a poison control center or doctor immediately for treatment advice. Have person sip glass of water if able to swallow. Do not induce vomiting unless told to by a poison control center or doctor. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Inhalation: Move person to fresh air. If person is not breathing, call 911 or an ambulance, then give artificial respiration, preferably by mouth-to-mouth, if possible. Call a poison control center or doctor for further treatment advice. From Label: If in Eyes: Hold eyelids open and flush with a steady, gentle stream of water for 15 minutes. Get medical attention. If Swallowed: Call a physician or poison control center. Do not induce vomiting. Drink promptly a large quantity of milk, egg whites, gelatin solution, or if these are not available, drink large quantities of water. Note to Physicians: Emergency Information call 1-800-225-2883. Probable mucosal damage may contraindicate the use of gastric lavage.
